Team is not your average duo. Although the instruments are acoustic, the sound is more than you expect from just two performers. With the use of ‘live looping’ technology, a full band sound is created and all your favourite songs come to life, just the way you remember them, but like you’ve never seen before.
Tim Hewitt is the Vocalist / Guitarist of Team. Performing professionally for over 20 years, he brings a wealth of experience to the stage. Previously a member of Canadian super groups such as; Trooper, Prism and Rymes with Orange, Tim now takes center stage with a wonderful voice and impressive guitar skills. Performing over 200 shows a year as a solo, duo or band performer, his repertoire and rapport are fine tuned.
Spring Burke rounds out Team with her violin, bringing beautiful melodies and solos, adding sparkle to the team’s sound. A consummate musician, she holds a master’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Victoria where she studied under Sharon Stanis of the Lafayette String Quartet. The sound of the violin is a perfect pairing to Tim’s acoustic looping, adding another voice to the mix.
Perfect for events where clients and buyers might not think they can not ‘fit or afford’ a band, Team not only provides entertainment, but keeps the dance floor full as well. From Classic to Current hits, Celtic fun and more, they offer something for everyone. Available for private and corporate parties, christmas parties and weddings. Return and on-going engagements from Vancouver to Whistler keep this duo in demand!
